Question:

How many milligrams are in each capsule?

Answer: Each capsule has 75mg (25 of each type of magnesium - taurate, glycinate, malate). We are big believers in the minimum viable dose and found that 150mg (2 capsules) works for most people since this blend of magnesium is absorbed well, especially compared to other forms of magnesium. So that is what we recommend people start with.

Is this chelated as well?

Answer: When the magnesium is attached to another element (malate, glycinate, taurate) it is chelated. That is how it enters the cell (by being attached to the other element) otherwise magnesium cannot enter the cell membrane.

Question:

How long is the supplement shelf life?

Answer: The shelf life of magnesium is about three years if you can keep it in a nice temperature-controlled environment. As far as the expiration date is concerned, you can find it on the right edge of the label (just to the right of the supplement facts). There will be a string of vertical numbers and generally a space then four digits (like 0422) That is the expiration date.

Question:

Which one is better for anxiety: Triple Calm Magnesium or B-Calmplex?

Answer: More people tend to find a stronger benefit from Triple Calm than B-CALMplex, but that is generally because more people have a magnesium deficiency than a B-Vitamin deficiency (usually due to the lack of magnesium in our diets). Plus, magnesium really helps produce a calming effect and sleep benefits and the better sleep you get the easier it is to deal with anxiety. However, if you have a B-Vitamin deficiency then B-CALMplex is really beneficial for you.
